20-40 minutes

Preparation Time:

10 minutes

Servings:

6 people

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups buckwheat flour
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 1 sheet of nori
  • 1 tablespoon Tamari sauce
  • sea salt
  • pepper
  • tasmanian kelp flakes (optional)
  • approx 160 ml water

Method

Place flour, almond meal, nori sheet (tear into small strips), a pinch of sea salt, tamari sauce, crack of pepper, good sprinkling of kelp flakes in a food processor and blitz until well combined.

Pour in the 160 ml of water and blitz until combined.

Tear 4 tray sized sheets of baking paper.

Halve the mixture and place on two separate sheets of baking paper and lightly form into a dough ball.

Place the second sheets on top of each dough ball and using a rolling pin, roll mixture out to a few mm thickness.

Remove the top sheet carefully and place the baking sheet and cracker mixture on baking trays. Lightly salt if so desired.

Using a knife, cut into squares, triangles or use a cookie cutter to make desired shapes.

Bake in oven on 180 degrees for approx 20-40 minutes depending on oven type.

Ready when slightly golden.

TIP- You may need to turn the squares half way, depending on the thickness you rolled to.

Serve with your favourite dip!! Delicious with hommus or beetroot dips!
